The chamber electric furnace model SNO-12.18.12 is designed for a full cycle of heat treatment of ferrous and non-ferrous metal workpieces in serial and small-scale production.
Elimination of coarse Widmanstätten structure, relief of work hardening after stamping, and equalization of mechanical properties across the part cross-section.
Technical conditions: heating to 850–950 °C, holding time calculated as 1 minute per 1 mm of cross-section, cooling in still air.
Useful hearth area — 2.16 m². With a specific load of 500–800 kg/m², the total charge weight is 1000–1700 kg. Actual working load — up to 1500 kg of medium and large-sized forgings.
Heating for hardening of structural, tool, and low-alloy steels, transforming the structure to martensite or bainite.
Technical conditions: operating temperature 800–1050 °C, temperature maintenance accuracy ±5 °C.
The hearth design allows the use of tray-type pallets for rapid unloading into a quenching tank. Recommended single part weight — up to 100 kg, total charge load — up to 1200 kg with dense packing.
You can select a quenching tank in our catalog.
Reduction of internal stresses after hardening, reduction of brittleness, and achievement of the required strength class.
Technical conditions: heating to 150–650 °C, uniform temperature field across the chamber volume (spread no more than 10 °C). Long holding time up to 8 hours without temperature fluctuations due to low inertia of the lining. Charge weight — up to 1500 kg.
If tempering is carried out intensively at a temperature of 500-600 °C, a good option would be to purchase low-temperature furnaces with a movable hearth.
If the part weight is small and the load is light, it is economically and technologically optimal to buy an industrial drying oven.
Relief of internal stresses after welding, machining, or casting, reduction of hardness to improve machinability.
Technical conditions: heating rate from 0.5 to 5 °C/min, cooling with the furnace to 300–400 °C. The lining wall thickness (250 mm fireclay + thermal insulation) provides a cooling rate of no more than 30–40 °C/hour — a "thermos" mode that allows holding large-sized castings weighing up to 1500–1700 kg.
— Stabilization of cast iron casting dimensions (holding at 550–650 °C, charge up to 1500 kg).
— Heating for hot plastic deformation (up to 1150 °C, individual workpieces up to 200 kg).
— Sintering of cermet products.
— High tempering of high-speed steels in a protective atmosphere (when installing the rotameter option). For this technology with small-scale production, we recommend furnaces for heating in a protective atmosphere SNOz.
For mass and intensive production, it is most optimal to use gas-tight containers.
