The furnace is a bell-type unit with a vertical cylindrical chamber.
The working size of the isostatic heating zone inside the chamber: diameter 200 mm, height 300 mm.
The thermal insulation is metallic, screen-type, and fixed to the chamber walls. The screen material is molybdenum MCh (purity not less than 99.96% GOST 25442 – 82) - 10 screens and stainless steel 310S - 5 screens. The heaters are molybdenum and are installed around the perimeter of the working space.
The vacuum bell-type furnace SGV-2.3/15-I2-V-Mo is designed for thermal processes in vacuum at temperatures up to 1500°C, including primary sintering of products from titanium-based powders and gas evolution, where there is no interaction between the residual gas environment and the materials of the heater, thermal insulation, and other structural elements.
For processes requiring a cooling rate higher than the natural rate, the electric furnace is additionally equipped with a device for forced inert gas supply.
Operation in high-purity neutral gases at an overpressure of no more than 0.02 MPa (0.2 kgf/cm²) is permitted, with the working temperature to be determined depending on the physical parameters of the gas.
