Purpose of the Gas Supply and Mixing System SPSG-3600-2-I-4-V

The module is designed for automatic creation and maintenance of a protective atmosphere with an upper control limit of 3600 Qvp, l/h (for nitrogen). The system has two inlet and four outlet lines. It includes a high-performance vacuum pump. This model is one of the components of a protective gas heat treatment line. It can be purchased separately or as part of a complex.

The system ensures precise gas mixing in the required proportions and delivers the mixture into the protective atmosphere at the necessary speed and pressure.

The system consists of a control unit, a mixing unit, a vacuum pump, valves, and pressure reducers. The control unit provides automatic operation of the system and monitoring of operating parameters. The mixing unit includes gas pressure reducers, valves, and flow meters for accurate delivery of the required volume of each gas.

The vacuum pump is used to remove residual air from the container and maintain the specified vacuum. Pressure reducers supply gas at the required pressure. Valves control the supply of gases and the mixture. Regulators ensure the exact ratio of gas volumes in the mixture.

Technological Process of the SPSG System Operation

  • Preparatory Stage (Evacuation): After loading and closing the container, the system connects to it and evacuates the air. This is critical for removing oxygen and preventing oxidation.
  • Atmosphere Formation (Mixing and Delivery): The SPSG receives source gases, precisely doses them using flow meters, and mixes them in the required ratio. The resulting mixture is supplied to the container, completely displacing residual air after evacuation or directly creating the necessary atmosphere.
  • Stability Assurance (Control): During subsequent heating and cooling, the system can monitor and correct the gas atmosphere parameters inside the container, ensuring the absence of decarburization and scale.
  • Parallel Processing (Multiplexing): Four independent outlet lines allow one SPSG system to flexibly manage the atmosphere in several containers, significantly increasing the overall productivity of the complex.
