Thermoelectric converter (thermocouple) type TXA(K) with an open, uninsulated junction.

The thermocouple is made of thermoelectrodes with a diameter of 1.2 mm. The thermoelectrodes are placed in mullite-silica beads with a diameter of 6.4 mm. The total length of the thermocouple is 1500 mm.

This type of thermocouple design is the most common and is widely used in thermal equipment.
