## Application and Advantages of SNVS-P Vacuum Drying Ovens The SNVS-P series shelf vacuum drying ovens are specialized equipment for gentle vacuum drying of materials sensitive to high temperatures: biological samples, microorganism cultures, pharmaceutical substances, bulk and paste-like products in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Precise temperature and vacuum control under controlled conditions completely avoids overheating, degradation, and preserves the functional properties of the product. - For vacuum drying of heat-sensitive and biological materials: Provides controlled drying conditions to preserve the structure of proteins, enzymes, and cell cultures. - For the chemical and pharmaceutical industries: For removing volatile solvents from bulk products, granules, and pastes without oxidation or loss of activity. - Programmable process: Automatic regulation of vacuum and temperature according to a set program guarantees the highest repeatability of results from batch to batch. - Uniform heating: The horizontal design with heated shelves ensures an even temperature throughout the entire working chamber volume. Details on advantages in the blog: [Advantages of vacuum drying with controlled heat supply](https://tula-term.ru/o-kompanii/blog/preimushestva-vakuumnoj-sushki-s-kontroliruemym-podvodom-tepla "Advantages of vacuum drying with controlled heat supply"). ## Design and Operating Principle of the Shelf Vacuum Drying Oven The base of the oven is a sealed horizontal chamber made of corrosion-resistant steel, closed with an end door for convenient loading. Inside, there is a heated shelf (or several shelves) on which trays with the product are placed. Heating occurs by contact and is uniform. The programmable control system (P) via a controller sets the precise temperature (up to 350°C) and regulates the vacuum level (from atmospheric pressure to low vacuum up to 5 mmHg in standard design N). The vacuum environment lowers the boiling point of moisture, and the heated shelf compensates for the heat removed, allowing drying at low temperatures and accelerating the vapor removal process.
